About Course
The 16-Hour Supervisor Site Safety Training (SST) Card Online Renewal Package is designed to help construction supervisors renew their SST certification conveniently and fully online. This training ensures continued compliance with NYC Local Law 196 of 2017, which mandates site safety training and certification for designated personnel working on construction sites in New York City.
Under Local Law 196, individuals serving in supervisory roles—including Site Safety Managers, Site Safety Coordinators, Construction Superintendents, Concrete Safety Managers, and designated competent persons—are required to complete approved safety training and carry a valid Supervisor SST Card as proof of compliance.
Additionally, in accordance with Section 3301.13.12 of the New York City Building Code, Construction Superintendents must designate a competent person for each job site. This individual must be present at all times during active work and must hold a valid Supervisor SST Card.

This 16-hour renewal package consists of the following NYC DOB-approved courses:
8-Hour Fall Prevention (SST-307)
4-Hour Supported Scaffold User & Refresher (SCA-212)
2-Hour Pre-Task Meeting (SST-303)
2-Hour Tool Box Talks (SST-304)
