About Course
The 32 Hour SST provides a significant portion of the total training hours required for a Supervisor SST card. The remaining hours are typically completed by finishing OSHA 30. Together, these courses ensure supervisors meet NYC Department of Buildings training standards under Local Law 196.
This 32 Hour SST is required for individuals serving in roles such as the following:
- Site Safety Managers
- Site Safety Coordinators
- Construction Superintendents
- Concrete Safety Managers
- Competent Persons designated under Local Law 196
Enrolling in the 32 Hour SST helps supervisors understand regulatory responsibilities, site hazard management, and compliance requirements specific to NYC construction sites.
Training Includes

- 8-Hour Site Safety (Chapter 33) – Review of NYC site safety management requirements
