4-Hour Aerial & Scissor Lifts training is designed for workers who operate or work around aerial lifts and scissor lifts in construction, maintenance, and industrial environments. These versatile lifting devices come in various sizes and applications, each with specific operational hazards. This course focuses on improving workplace safety by teaching proper operating procedures and hazard prevention techniques.
This Aerial & Scissor Lift Certification program provides essential knowledge to help reduce risks such as falls, tip-overs, electrocution, and struck-by incidents. It is suitable for employees, supervisors, and safety personnel responsible for lift operations.
Course Objectives
After completing this 4-Hour Aerial Lift Training, participants will be able to:
- Explain the importance of aerial and scissor lift safety
- Define aerial lifts and scissor lifts with real-world examples
- Identify required safety practices before, during, and after lift operation
- Apply precautions to prevent trips, falls, tip-overs, catapulting, and electrical hazards

Course Outline
The Aerial and Scissor Lift Operator Training includes four hours of fully narrated safety instruction covering multiple types of powered access and mobile scaffolding equipment. Participants will learn how to work safely on and around aerial and scissor lifts through:
