SST Card Qualification and Requirements
OSHA Course Requirements
- The OSHA course must have been completed within valid time frame, which is 5 years.
- Training must be supervised by only authorized OSHA instructors either online or through in-person classes.
- OSHA cards are subject to verification or else you will not qualify for site safety certification.
Verification Policy
- External training will be authenticated before providing any sort of certification
- Certification will not be issued, if the completion of courses remains unverified

Worker Wallet Card
The Essential Card for Safety and Compliance
Upon the completion of any required course, an authorized course provider for DOB would provide everyone with a wallet-sized card certifying his/her competency to use pieces of construction machinery.
Beginning from Fall 2024, these cards have started being issued using the Training Connect system, which was previously used currently used to issue Site Safety Training (SST) cards. Now, several cards merge into one, Worker Wallet, making it unnecessary to carry several physical cards. Worker Wallet has a scannable feature which contains all the achievable certificates for a particular employee.
