The 8-Hour Fall Prevention (SST-307) course provides comprehensive training on identifying, evaluating, and preventing fall hazards in construction. This 8-Hour Fall Prevention program is designed to meet NYC Local Law 196 (LL196) requirements and supports OSHA fall protection standards with NYC-specific safety regulations.

Falls are one of the leading causes of serious injuries and fatalities in construction, and the 8-Hour Fall Prevention training helps reduce these risks by improving hazard awareness, strengthening safety decision-making, and promoting proper fall protection practices on job sites.

Important Notice – LL196 Requirement

Under Local Law 196, the 8-Hour Fall Prevention course requires trainees to understand and demonstrate proper use of generic fall protection equipment.

Even though this 8-Hour Fall Prevention training can be completed online, workers are encouraged to coordinate with employers to practice real equipment use and site-specific fall protection systems.
