About Course
The 30-Hour Concrete Safety Manager (CSM) course is designed for construction professionals responsible for managing concrete operations on major New York City construction projects. Projects involving the placement of 2,000 cubic yards or more of concrete require a designated concrete safety manager to ensure compliance with NYC safety regulations.
Course Overview
This course provides training in concrete safety management, OSHA standards, NYC building codes, rigging, scaffolding, hoisting operations, hazard recognition, and site safety planning. Participants will gain practical knowledge to help maintain safe and compliant concrete operations.
Training includes lectures, case studies, discussions, and hands-on exercises based on real-world construction scenarios.
