32-Hour Rigging Supervisor

The 32-Hour Rigging Supervisor Course is required in New York City for individuals who are not licensed riggers or designated forepersons of a licensed rigger and intend to supervise the hoisting or lowering of materials on the exterior of a building.

Instead of completing this training, an individual may present a valid NCCO national rigging certification as permitted by NYC regulations.

This course prepares participants to supervise rigging operations in compliance with NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) requirements, OSHA 1926 Subpart CC, and applicable building codes. Special focus is placed on crane safety, hazard prevention, load control, and supervision in dense urban construction environments.
