About Course
The First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor-BL r.25 – Red Cross training program is designed for individuals seeking to become qualified instructors under the American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor framework. It prepares instructor candidates to deliver basic-level First Aid, CPR, and AED training in full compliance with American Red Cross standards.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Apply Red Cross instructional policies, procedures, and teaching methodologies
- Deliver clear, engaging, and effective First Aid/CPR/AED instruction to diverse learner groups
- Demonstrate life-saving skills in accordance with Red Cross standards
- Safely manage classroom environments and hands-on training sessions
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive coaching and feedback
Instructor Certification
Successful completion of this training results in an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor-BL r.25 Certification, valid for two (2) years. This authorizes instructors to teach and issue official certificates for American Red Cross First Aid, CPR, and AED courses. Recertification options are available to maintain active instructor status beyond the certification period.
CEUs
Participants who successfully complete this training are eligible to earn 0.8 CEUs, awarded in accordance with American Red Cross guidelines.
