About Course
The 40-Hour SST is a complete training bundle designed to meet the site safety training requirement for construction workers under NYC Local Law 196. This program combines OSHA 30 with the required 10 hours of site safety training to help workers qualify for the Worker SST Card.
This bundle includes the mandatory 8-Hour Fall Prevention and 2-Hour Drug & Alcohol Awareness courses. When combined with OSHA 30, the 40-Hour SST satisfies the full training requirement for workers on NYC job sites that require an SST card.
This training ensures participants understand fall hazards, workplace substance awareness, OSHA standards, and overall site safety compliance. It is structured to help workers meet NYC Department of Buildings regulations and maintain active site eligibility.
