The 32 Hour Suspended Scaffold Supervisor Course is designed for experienced workers, safety managers, and superintendents responsible for overseeing suspended scaffold operations in New York City. Also known as the 32-hour suspended rigging foreman course, this program focuses on safety compliance, hazard prevention, and supervisory duties for scaffold operations.

This training helps participants understand OSHA regulations, NYC Construction Codes, and the responsibilities required to supervise scaffold work safely on active construction sites.

Participants learn how to review scaffold drawings, verify rigging crew qualifications, identify hazards, and respond to emergencies during suspended scaffold operations.

NYC Training Requirement

Under Section 3314.4.5.3 of the NYC Construction Code, the 32 Hour Suspended Scaffold Supervisor Course is required by the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) for supervising suspended scaffold work.

Completion of this course satisfies DOB requirements for individuals in supervisory scaffold roles.
