The 40 Hour Hoisting Machine Operator course is a comprehensive training program required for individuals seeking a Hoisting Machine Operator’s license in New York City. Completion of this training is a prerequisite for licensing and ensures that operators can perform their duties safely and in compliance with NYC regulations.

Prerequisites

Applicants must hold a valid national crane operator certification in addition to this training.
Students must be able to communicate verbally with the instructor in the primary language of the course.
Basic knowledge of NYC Building Codes related to public safety is recommended.
